3D Week 001 Assignment
For this week's assignment I was to create a level inside of the Unreal Engine only using a cube modeled in Maya and exported to the Unreal Engine. Below is a cube that is 10 x 10 x 10 centimeters which I used as my main unit of measure. I created materials in the Unreal Engine and applied it to all of the blocks while I was building my world.
I began by creating a staircase using the smaller cubes, but then I realized that that is too small so then I scaled the cube to a 3 x 3 x 3 which was basically a foot so that I can begin construction of the lighthouse. Once I created the lighthouse, I grouped up the sides that I wanted to break off and moved them.
The sides of the lighthouse are lined by smaller cubes that have their Fresnel BRF value blown out to 3.27 so that they look like they are glowing,
